01 — The problem
Franka doesn't fail all at once.
It starts as dust on the windowsill. Then the surface goes soft under a thumbnail. Then a winter of driven rain takes a layer off, and the carved edge that survived two hundred years is gone in five.
The usual answer is a sealer. A sealer forms a film across the surface and stops water getting in — which also stops it getting out. Moisture already inside the wall stays there. Salts crystallise behind the film. The stone lifts away in sheets, taking the treatment with it.
The wall didn't need sealing. It needed holding together.

Nano-particles penetrate 12–18 mm into the stone and re-bind loose grains to sound material below. Measured surface cohesion increases by 180%.
Protects.
The treated surface sheds water — 87% reduction in capillary absorption — so driven rain runs off instead of soaking in.
Breathes.
Class V1 vapour permeability. Moisture inside the wall still leaves through the face, exactly as it did before treatment.

Not a sealer.
No film. Nothing sits on the surface to peel, yellow or trap moisture behind it.
Not a damp treatment.
It will not stop rising damp and is not a substitute for addressing the source. Treating a wet wall treats a symptom.
Not silane or siloxane based.
Water-carried, 15% active solids, no solvent.
03 — In practice
What you'll actually notice
The dust stops.
The powder on your windowsills and the grit at the foot of the wall is your façade leaving, a little at a time. Once the surface is re-bound, it stops.
The flaking stops.
No more sheets lifting away after a hard winter. The stone holds together, including the carved edges.
Rain runs off.
Water sheets down the face instead of soaking in, so the wall dries out in hours rather than days.
No smell, and nobody moves out.
Water-based, no solvents, under 30 g/L VOC. It can be applied with the family at home and the windows shut. You won’t know it’s happening.
The stone still looks like stone.
No shine, no film, no plastic sheen. Nothing sits on the surface to peel, yellow or lift in five years.
One product, one weekend.
No primer, no topcoat. Brush or low-pressure sprayer, two coats, rain-free for six hours. Brushes rinse out under the tap.
