Why this product exists

Malta is built out of a stone that dissolves. Globigerina limestone is workable, beautiful and everywhere — and it gives up its binder to rain over decades until the surface turns to powder.

The available answer was a sealer. We watched sealed walls fail faster than untreated ones, because a film across the face traps everything the wall needs to release.

We worked with GFC Chimica to develop a treatment that does the opposite: goes into the stone rather than over it, re-binds what’s left, sheds water at the pore rather than across the surface, and leaves the wall as breathable as it found it.

Then we tested it properly, and published what came back — including the limits.
